PODCASTING MENTOR IN YOUR POCKET
☻
PODCASTING MENTOR IN YOUR POCKET ☻
Personal, 1:1 support for solopreneurs who want to launch their podcast, record solo episodes, and enjoy the process.
Send me your questions. Talk through your ideas. Record your episodes with me there to help.
We’ll build a podcast around your expertise, your business, and your actual life.
“I finally feel like I have some kind of roadmap for creating my podcast.”
You know you have something to say. So why is this still sitting on your to-do list?
You can already imagine it: your own show, your own voice, your own way of helping people understand what you do.
Then you sit down to work on it, and suddenly you have 27 questions.
What should the podcast be about? Who’s my ideal listener? Do I need video? How many episodes should I record before launching? And how am I supposed to fit this around everything else?
You open another tab. Listen to another podcast about podcasts. Make another plan.
And your future podcast is still in your head.
I know how easily that happens. I also know we can make this much simpler.
You can ask the question, get an answer, and do something with it.
And when it’s time to record? I can help you with that, too.
A question comes up. You send it to me. We keep moving.
That’s the idea behind having a podcasting mentor in your pocket.
You send me text messages or voice notes on Telegram whenever something comes up. An idea, a doubt, a decision you’re stuck on, or that one thing you’ve been overthinking for three days.
There’s no limit on the number of messages you can send. I reply within one business day, Monday to Friday.
“I could focus on my voice, my ideas and my message while you helped hold the structure around the launch. That support was one of the biggest reasons I was able to move from idea to actual podcast.”
Here’s How We Can Work Together
1. We start with you.
Our first call is 30 minutes. I want to understand your business, your ideas, your goals, and what’s happening in your life.
We’ll work out where you are now and what makes sense to do next.
2. You have me in your pocket for the month.
Send me your questions and ideas on Telegram. I’ll help you make decisions, work through the sticking points, and follow through.
There’s no course to complete before you can start. If a specific podcast episode or audio lesson would help, I’ll point you toward it when it’s relevant.
3. You book short sessions when you need them.
Use a 15-minute session to record a solo episode, talk through a bigger question, or get a little encouragement to keep going.
Book one session at a time. Once we’ve finished, you can book the next available slot during your support month.
I’m based in Zagreb, Croatia, on Central European time (CET). I usually offer sessions Tuesday to Thursday, with two hours in the morning and one in the afternoon each day—dozens of 15-minute slots across the week, designed to accommodate clients in time zones around the world.
Choose from the available times in my calendar. All sessions are included in your monthly support.
What could your month look like?
You might launch your podcast and start publishing.
You might have five or six finished episodes, with a few launch details still to sort out.
Or you might record your first episode, find your direction, and finally know what you’re doing next.
We’ll work toward the progress that makes sense for you. How far we get depends on your starting point, the time you give it, and how you use the support.
There’s no required episode count. Bring your willingness to take part, and we’ll put it to work. :)
“Of course I’m more ready to create now, more motivated to work and more excited about everything ahead of me.”
A Podcasting Mentor in Your Pocket — $450 for one month
Here’s what’s included:
A 30-minute introductory call about your business and your future podcast.
Unlimited text and voice messages on Telegram, with replies within one business day, Monday to Friday.
15-minute live support or guided solo recording sessions, booked one at a time from my available calendar slots.
Recording software for our sessions.
Editing for the episodes we record together.
Show notes for those episodes.
Finished .mp3 files that belong to you. Forever.
Personal guidance and encouragement as you plan, launch, and keep your podcast going.
Your month runs from your start date to the same date the following month. Start on the 5th, and your support runs until the 5th of the next month.
Start with one month. If you want more support, we can continue. If you have what you need, go and use it.
And if you want to come back later? Get in touch, and we can pick up from where you are then. :)
Note: Two Other Costs to Plan For
1. Your hosting account
Your podcast needs somewhere to live. I always recommend Captivate.fm, which is a platform I personally use, and I’ll help you understand the setup and publishing process.
Its Personal plan currently starts at $19 USD per month, or $17 per month paid yearly. You pay for your account directly, and it stays yours.
Your show is your intellectual property. I want you to own it and feel confident managing it.
2. Your cover art
People see your cover before they hear your voice. That first impression matters.
You can create your own artwork in Canva, but I recommend handing it to a designer if your budget allows. Plan around $50–$90 as a suggested starting budget, with the final price agreed with a designer. (I’ll point you in the right direction. :))
It’s a one-and-done investment for your podcast.
I talk about this in What If Your Podcast Artwork Is Costing You Listeners?. Have a listen if you’re wondering what deserves your attention here.
“I had only planned to listen in parts. I have a busy morning. Tell me why I listened to the entire thing and found myself rewinding sections.”
Is this for you?
This is for you if you’re a solopreneur or freelancer who wants to create a podcast and is ready to take part in making it happen.
You want someone to ask when you get stuck. Someone who understands strategy and also understands that life happens. Someone who can help you turn what you know into solo episodes.
We’ll work as a team. I’ll guide you and handle the recording software, editing, and show notes for our recordings. You’ll bring your expertise, make decisions with me, and show up to record.
You don’t need everything figured out. You do need to be willing to get involved.
A Few Things You Might Be Wondering
Do I need a fully formed podcast idea?
No. Bring the ideas you have, even if they’re messy. We can work through your focus, ideal listener, and format together.
Do I need to learn how to edit?
I edit the episodes we record together and provide your show notes. You choose when to publish them and handle the upload and publishing or scheduling in your hosting account. I’ll help you get comfortable with that process.
Can I message you in the evening or at the weekend?
Yes. Send your messages whenever it suits you. I reply within one business day, Monday to Friday, working on Zagreb time.
How many sessions can I book?
Book one 15-minute session at a time, choosing live support, a pep talk, or an episode recording session. :) Once it’s finished, book the next available appointment during your month. I usually make dozens of slots available each week across Tuesday to Thursday.
Can we work together if I’m in another time zone?
Yes. My usual morning and afternoon availability in Zagreb is designed to give clients around the world options. Check the available times in my calendar to find what works for you.
Will I launch within a month?
That’s possible, depending on where you start and the time you can give it. We’ll work toward a realistic goal together. Five or six solo episodes can be achievable with regular sessions, but there’s no guaranteed launch date or episode count.
Do I have to sign up for several months?
No. Start with one month, running from your start date to the same date the following month. Continue or return later if you want more support.
Can you help after I launch?
Absolutely. We can work on your next episodes, your publishing rhythm, your offers, and the questions that come up once your show is out in the world.
You have a voice worth hearing.
Your experience. Your values. The work you’ve done. The way you explain things that makes them click for someone else.
That belongs in your podcast.
You don’t need permission to start. But if you’d like someone beside you while you do it, I’m here.
Let’s give people something to listen to.
You don’t need to save everything for a call next week. You don’t need to make your question sound clever. Just send it.
Examples of what we can work through:
Your podcast’s focus, your ideal listener, and how it connects to your services.
Episode ideas, length, format, and a publishing rhythm that works for you.
Audio versus video, YouTube, seasons, breaks, and what deserves your attention now.
Hosting, publishing, and all those “Okay, but HOW do I actually do this?” questions.
Sometimes you’ll need a practical answer. Sometimes you’ll need someone to listen and help you sort through your thoughts.
And sometimes you’ll need me to remind you: you can actually do this.
“Thank you for adapting everything to me. I’m so happy that you were really able to hear me and figure out what I need.”
We’ll actually record your episodes. Yes, together. :)
Because this is where so many future podcasters get stuck.
Recording starts feeling like a whole event. You need an afternoon, a script, the right mood, and then somehow you’re also supposed to become an audio editor.
Let’s make it easier.
Book a 15-minute session with me. We’ll agree on a topic, I’ll ask you questions, and you’ll talk me through what you know.
Your knowledge. Your personality. Your solo episode.
I’m there to help you get it out of your head and into a recording. We’ll also make room for your offer, so listeners understand how they can work with you.
I provide the recording software. Afterward, I cut out silences where needed, polish the audio where needed, and write your show notes.
Within two days, you receive your finished .mp3 file and show notes.
You choose what to publish straight away and what to save for later. Uploading and publishing or scheduling are yours to do—it’s a couple of clicks in Captivate, and I’ll show you how.
You can have one weekly episode ready to go. In one quick meeting.
With regular bookings and follow-through, having five or six episodes ready during your month is a realistic possibility. That gives you content to publish and a little breathing room, too.
“No exaggeration—if I hadn’t met you, I wouldn’t have started doing solo episodes. Thank you.”
Your podcast should have a place in your life.
You have clients. Maybe children, older parents, or other people who need you. A house that somehow always needs something. Friends you want to see. Things you enjoy doing.
I want you to keep enjoying those things.
We’ll make decisions around the time and energy you actually have. If a weekly episode works, great. If another rhythm makes more sense, we’ll build around that.
Your idea can change as you go. Your first few recordings might show us what feels natural, what you enjoy, and what you want to do more of.
And if a week gets chaotic? We’ll find the next manageable step.
I want you to look forward to recording. To feel excited about your topics. To be proud of the thing you’re putting into the world.
My client Anđela told me she recorded two episodes in the break between two clients.
Two episodes. In a gap in her working day.
Something that used to take so much thinking and preparation had become something she could simply do.
She also told me that a client extended their work together after listening to her podcast. Hearing her was a reminder of her expertise and the value of continuing to work with her.
That’s what I love about putting your voice out there.
People hear how you think, how you explain things, and what you care about. They get to know the person behind the expertise.
And those episodes can keep working for you while you’re doing something else.
Here’s what clients have shared about going from not knowing if anyone would listen to their future podcast, Googling microphones for hours on end, and procrastinating for months, all in the name of making everything “perfect,” to getting crystal clear next steps and actually getting excited at the prospect of their podcasts being out there for their ideal listeners to consume.
What happens when you stop overthinking and start podcasting. ;)
“And definitely, the sense of security knowing that you’re there if I get stuck. 🩷”
“I’m grateful that you make time for me and really listen to me. That’s the most important thing to me in a mentorship.”
“I can actually do this.”
“Working with you helped me see that the process could be broken down into clear and manageable steps. You brought structure, calm and clarity into something that had felt very overwhelming before.”
“I don’t think I would have done that on my own, at least not with the same confidence. You helped me understand why it was important and guided me through it step by step.”
“I’ve loved having you by my side to check thoughts, fix problems and steer me in the right direction. Now it’s down to me to get this show on the road ;-)”
“You knew when to give me space and when to gently nudge me forward. And I was like, ‘Okay, this is a magic lady.’”
“You have a special skill that works incredibly well against procrastination 🥰 This is so useful! Thank you 💙”
“If you really want to start your podcast, call Anja. Don’t wait because you’re just going to think and make it a bigger nightmare than it actually is. She’s empathetic. She listens. She knows strategy. She understands you. And the things that you could battle for months, she can solve in like 30 minutes.”
